Universal Coal Plc announced production and sales results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 2019. For the quarter, the company reported ROM coal production of 2,370,000 tonnes against 2,155,000 a year ago.

For the quarter, the company reported total coal sales of 1,711,000 tonnes against 1,780,000 a year ago.

For the year, the company reported ROM coal production of 5,400,000 tonnes against 4,019,000 a year ago.

For the year, the company reported total coal sales of 3,576,000 tonnes against 2,955,000 a year ago.

The company revised production and sales guidance for the fiscal year 2020. For the year, the company expects total ROM production of 11 million tonnes against 12 million tonnes of earlier guidance.

For the year, the company expects total coal sales of 7.9 million tonnes against 8.4 million tonnes of earlier guidance.
