(Alliance News) - US Solar Fund PLC on Monday said it chose Amber Infrastructure Group as preferred candidate to replace New Energy Solar Manager Pty Ltd as investment manager to the company.

The London-based investment company focusing on owning and operating solar power assets in North America said its board and Amber will now consult with US Solar Fund's shareholders over the coming weeks, with further announcements to be made in due course.

It added that New Energy Solar will remain as manager until a replacement is appointed.

US Solar Fund shares were quoted at USD0.62 each on Monday morning in London. They last traded at USD0.61 each on Friday afternoon last week.
