USS Co. Ltd. Announces Changes in Organization and in Directors and Executive Officers

The Board of Directors of USS Co. Ltd. approved on June 26, 2012 the following organizational changes and changes in directors and executive officers: Yukihiro Ando appointed as Representative Director, Chairman and President from his previous position of President, Representative Director and CEO; Fumihiko Tamura appointed as Representative Director and Vice Chairman from his previous position of Representative Director, Vice Chairman and Officer of the Kyushu Office; Shigeo Hara appointed as Representative Director and Vice Chairman from his previous position of Representative Director, Vice Chairman and Officer of the Tokyo Office; Dai Seta appointed as Representative Director, Vice President and Manager of Auction Operation Department from his previous position of Representative Director, Vice President and Officer of Auction Operation Dept. and Officer of the Nagoya Office; Motohiro Masuda appointed as Director, Vice President and Manager of Saitama Auction Site from his previous position of Director, Vice President and Vice Officer of the Tokyo Office; Eiji Gono appointed as Director, Vice President and Manager of Kyushu Auction Site from his previous position of Director, Vice President and Vice Officer of the Kyushu Office; Toshio Mishima appointed as Senior Managing Director Manager of Fukuoka Auction Site from his previous position of Senior Managing Director Officer in charge of the Fukuoka Auction Site of the Kyushu Office; Masafumi Yamanaka appointed as Senior Managing Director Officer of the Supervisory Office from his previous position of Junior Managing Director Officer of the Supervisory Office; and Hiromitsu Ikeda appointed as Junior Managing Director Manager of Tohoku Auction Site from his previous position of Junior Managing Director Officer of the System Dept.
USS Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the auto auctions business. The Company operates in two business segments. The Auto Auction segment is engaged in the operation of auto auctions with used car dealers as members, the management of motorcycle auctions with used motorcycle dealers as members, the provision of auto auction connection services by satellite TV line and Internet, the provision of used car information services, the land transportation agency of exhibited cars and successful cars of auto auction, as well as the provision of financial services for auto auction members. The Used Automobile Purchase and Sale segment is engaged in the purchase and sale of used cars and accident-affected vehicles. The other business is engaged in the recycling of used vehicles, the provision of agency services for used vehicles, the sale of solar power generation systems and rental cars, as well as production and sale of recycled plastics.
