Vallibel One PLC reported group and company earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2018. For the quarter, on group basis, the company reported revenue of LKR 18,285,415,000 against LKR 16,892,273,000 a year ago. Profit from operating activities was LKR 4,018,554,000 against LKR 3,879,213,000 a year ago. Net profit for the period from continuing operation was LKR 1,773,005,000 or LKR 0.93 per share against LKR 2,067,457,000 or LKR 1.00 per share a year ago.
For the nine months, on group basis, the company reported revenue of LKR 48,505,003,000 against LKR 44,538,470,000 a year ago. Profit from operations was LKR 10,000,823,000 against LKR 9,887,827,000 a year ago. Net profit for the period from continuing operation was LKR 4,112,948,000 or LKR 2.29 per share against LKR 5,159,450,000 or LKR 2.50 per share a year ago.
For the quarter, on company basis, the company reported profit from operations was LKR 19,129,000 against loss of LKR 1,648,000 a year ago. Net loss for the period from continuing operation was LKR 20,575,000 or LKR 0.02 per share against profit of LKR 23,215,000 or LKR 0.02 per share a year ago.
For the nine months, on company basis, the company reported profit from operations was LKR 379,236,000 against LKR 430,499,000 a year ago. Net profit for the period from continuing operation was LKR 298,363,000 or LKR 0.27 per share against LKR 525,229,000 or LKR 0.48 per share a year ago.
