Vallourec announces that it has booked a fourth major order under the long-term agreement signed in 2021 with ExxonMobil Guyana, for line pipes for the deepwater Whiptail project.

The French group will deliver more than 180 km of tubes, including a portion in X80 grade which 'combines high mechanical strength and resistance to service conditions, making it a valuable element for future developments in deeper waters'.

With this order, Vallourec now has around 700 km of linepipe for installation projects offshore Guyana since December 2021. It will serve ExxonMobil Guyana from its state-of-the-art plant in Jeceaba, Brazil.
