VIS Quarterly Sales Report - The Second Quarter 2022

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation today announced its consolidated revenue of NT$15,301 million, net income of NT$4,887 million, and EPS of NT$2.94 for the second quarter 2022.

Quarter-over-quarter, the second quarter revenue increased around 13.4 % to NT$15,301 million from NT$13,492 million in previous quarter. Year-over-year, revenue for the second quarter increased around 50.7 %. Gross profit margin for the second quarter was around 50 % and operating profit margin was around 38.6 %.

"As soft consumer end market demand, supply chain is managing inventory actively." said Amanda Huang, Vice President & CFO of VIS. Based on the current business outlook; the performance of the third quarter 2022 is expected to be as below:

  • Revenue to be between NT$ 12.9 billion and NT$ 13.3 billion;
  • Gross profit margin to be between 44 % and 46 %;
  • Operating profit margin to be between 32.5 % and 34.5 %.
