Vardhman Textiles Limited announced sales results for the quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the quarter, the company reported yarn sales (including Internal Transfer) of 61,178 metric tons against 59,413 metric tons against a year ago. Grey Fabric sales (including internal transfers) of 50,700,000 meters against 55,500,000 meters year ago. Processed Fabric sales was 32,000,000 meters against 39,000,000 meters a year ago.
Vardhman Textiles Limited is an India-based vertically integrated textile manufacturer. The Company is primarily in the business of manufacturing, purchase and sale of textiles. Its segments include Textiles and Acrylic Fibre. Its businesses include yarns, fabrics, acrylic fiber, garments, collections, and special steel. Its yarn products include specialty yarns, acrylic, fancy and hand-knitting yarns, dyed yarns, grey yarns and others. Its garment product includes 100% cotton, poly cotton, cotton stretch or cotton lycra, linen, cotton Tencel, Cotton viscose, and Melange. The Company produces 2,40,000 metric tons of yarn and 220 million meters of woven fabric. It produces a variety of steels in terms of type and size. The product range includes rounds, squares, peeled/drawn center-less ground bars of carbon steel, case-hardening steel, through hardening steel and others. Its subsidiaries include Vardhman Acrylics Limited and VTL Investments Limited.
