Vascon Engineers Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 2,171 million compared to INR 2,173.4 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 2,193.9 million compared to INR 2,198.4 million a year ago. Net income was INR 206.6 million compared to INR 226.6 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 0.94 compared to INR 1.04 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 0.94 compared to INR 1.04 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was INR 4,215.6 million compared to INR 4,185.7 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 4,278 million compared to INR 4,227.9 million a year ago. Net income was INR 325.6 million compared to INR 334.7 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 1.48 compared to INR 1.53 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 1.48 compared to INR 1.53 a year ago.
Vascon Engineers Limited is an India-based construction engineering company. The Company's segments include Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), Real Estate Development, and Manufacturing and building management system (BMS). The EPC segment includes construction of residential, commercial, industrial and other constructions. The Real Estate Development segment is engaged in the development of residential, hotel premises and industrial park, among others. The Manufacturing and BMS segment includes manufacturing of clean room partition and BMS.
