Moko Social Media Limited reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the half year ended 31 December 2015. For the period, the company reported revenue of AUD 645,719 against AUD 1,885,262 a year ago. The decrease was largely due to a re-positioning of the Mobile Advertising operations to focus on building users and market share rather than short-term revenues in order to better position the business to maximize its future monetization potential.

Loss before income tax benefit from continuing operations was AUD 14,986,130 against AUD 8,213,844 a year ago. Loss attributable to owners of the company was AUD 15,280,650 against AUD 8,671,946 a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was AUD 8,508,326 against AUD 8,747,174 a year ago.

Payment for property, plant and equipment was AUD 7,592 against AUD 254,704 a year ago. Basic and diluted loss per share was 1.97 cents against 1.45 cents a year ago. Net tangible asset backing per ordinary security was 0.01 cents against 0.96 cents a year ago.

EBITDA was AUD 10,915,220 against LBITDA of AUD 7,876,231 a year ago.
