VOGO announces the signature of a new contract with the EHF (European Handball Federation) for the deployment of a video refereeing solution over 5 seasons

VOGO (ISIN: FR0011532225 - ALVGO) announces the signature of a new contract with the EHF for the deployment of a video refereeing solution (VOGOSPORT ELITE) from the 2023/2024 season and over 5 seasons. The system will cover all the men's and women's Champions League matches, a total of 264 matches per season.

Founded in Berlin in 1991, the EHF is the European Handball Federation. It represents 50 European national federations. It is responsible for organising continental competitions, in particular the European Championship and the Champions League. In addition to organising these competitions, the EHF is a major body in the development of handball-related education programmes.

To this end, the EHF has chosen the VOGOSPORT ELITE solution for video refereeing Machineseeker EHF Champions League and the EHF Champions League Women: a total of 264 matches per season, involving 32 clubs across Europe.

After equipping referees with the VOKKERO SQUADRA ONE communication system, VOGO now provides a complete video refereeing solution comprising a server, a Wifi terminal and a tablet equipped with VOGOSPORT ELITE live & replay video software. The tablet broadcasts 7 live streams (TV live stream and 6 raw camera shots) and is fixed on a tripod at the edge of the pitch, with the referee being able to watch the video in case of doubt.

This new contract reinforces VOGO's move towards a TaaS (Technology as a Service) model, involving multi-year service provision contracts. As announced at the time of the first-half sales figures, this signing will contribute to business sales from the second half of the year onwards. It also demonstrates the key role played by the VOGOSPORT live & replay solution in all sport disciplines.
