01.09.2021

Waberer's International have appointed a new chief executive officer - as of 1st of September 2021, Zsolt Barna is the new head of the logistics company.

On 31 August 2021, former CEO Barna Erdélyi has been elected as a member of the board of directors for the company in which role he will continue to actively participate in directing Waberer's. His main task will be to keep on ensuring the firm's continuous expansion and nursing its customer relations.

The above mentioned management structure changes are meant to support Waberer's in becoming not only one of Europe's leading transportation companies and Hungary's market leader logistics company, but the dominant logistics service provider in the whole region as well.

Zsolt Barna has already proven his skills as managing director of WSZL, Waberer's Regional Contract Logistics Company (also known as Waberer's-Szemerey Logistics Ltd.) During his time at WSZL, the company became the no.1 transportation and logistics company in Hungary.

Barna Erdélyi's assignment was to perform the significant transformation processes at Waberer's. This was done with outstanding results which is well proven by the numbers from the first half of this year issued by the company at the beginning of August.

In the meantime, Tóth Szabolcs remains in his position as CFO at Waberer's Group.
