Oslo, 02 February 2024 - Wallenius Wilhelmsen recently signed a significant
multi-year contract with a large Swedish manufacturing company. The new
agreement, which has a duration of three years, plus a two-year extension
option, is valued at approximately USD 300 million in total, based on expected
volumes over the three-year period. The contract commenced in January 2024, with
rates in line with current market levels.

this contract enables one of our key customers to secure the ocean capacity they
require to support their market needs" says Pia Synnerman, Chief Customer
Officer at Wallenius Wilhelmsen.

Synnerman adds, "Sharing our commitment towards sustainability, as part of the
new agreement we are in discussions with the customer on both short and
long-term strategic decarbonization initiatives."
