Waterman Transport & Development have been awarded a new Structural and Civil Engineering Framework contract by Kent County Council for Property Consultancy Services to primarily support the delivery of the council's capital programme and property services. The council is the largest local authority in England covering an area of 3,500 square kilometres. The Council provides a wide range of personal and strategic services on behalf of its residents, operating in partnership with 12 district councils and 289 parish/town councils. The property portfolio ranges from educational and social services establishments to office accommodation and residential. Clients of Property & Infrastructure Support range from the above Directorates to external clients including colleges, City and Borough Councils. The framework will also be made available to other public bodies.

The four year contract is due to commence in July 2014 and consultants will be selected from this framework by mini-competition.
