An unknown buyer signed a contract to acquire WDB Environmental & Biological Research Institute co., Ltd. from WDB Holdings Co., Ltd. (TSE:2475) on December 7, 2018. 0.003 million shares will be acquired as part of the deal. WDB Holdings will hold no shares after the deal. WDB Environmental & Biological Research Institute co., Ltd. reported net assets of ¥125.18 million, total assets of ¥166.29 million, sales of ¥146.18 million, operating loss of ¥3.35 million and net profit of ¥3.7 million as of March 31, 2018. Board of WDB Holdings Co., Ltd. resolved in favor of the deal on the same date. Deal is expected to close by December 27, 2018.
