On December 5, 2022, Webster Financial Corporation ("Webster") issued a press release announcing entry by Webster Bank, National Association, a wholly owned subsidiary of Webster, into a definitive agreement to acquire StoneCastle Insured Sweep, LLC, a subsidiary of StoneCastle Partners, LLC.
