Wedia has announced that it is in exclusive negotiations for the sale of Galilée (51% owned by Wedia), an unsolicited offer from Datasolution having been accepted by Wedia and Galilée's other shareholders.

The transaction is expected to be finalized at the end of December, once the usual conditions precedent have been met. As a reminder, Wedia had invested in Galilée at the end of 2019, with the ambition of developing the indirect distribution of Wedia's software solution.

The sale of this 51% stake would enable the group (Wedia and Iconosquare) to focus on its B2B SaaS software business, which would then represent over 80% of sales, and to strengthen its capacity to invest in growth.
