NOTICE OF CLOSED PERIOD

Please be informed that in line with Rule 17. 17-17.18 of Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) Rulebook (as amended), Wema Bank Plc (the Bank) has declared a Closed Period from 1st of October 2023 till 24 hours after the Bank's Unaudited Financial Statements for the third quarter ended 30th of September 2023 and other information have been made public through the Exchange's Issuer's Portal in line with the Rulebook.

Accordingly, no director, employee, person discharging managerial responsibility and adviser of the Bank and their connected persons or other insiders may directly or indirectly, deal (buy or sell) in the shares of the Bank in any manner during the Closed Period.

All directors, employees, person discharging managerial responsibility and persons closely connected to them as well as all insiders of the Bank have been appropriately advised.
