J Steel Company Holdings Inc. (KOSDAQ:A023440) agreed to acquire a 14.07% stake in Willings Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A313760 from An Gang Soon for KRW 17.6 billion on May 23, 2022. Under the terms, J Steel Company will acquire 800,000 shares in Willings. J Steel Company will use own funds to support the transaction consideration. The transaction is expected to close on June 30, 2022.

WILLINGS CO., LTD. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in renewable energy business. The Company operates its business through two segments. The Power Solution segment manufactures and sells induction heating inverters, power converters for ship water treatment, and water purifier power control devices.
