WorleyCord has been selected by NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd. (NOVA), an affiliate of TC Energy, for a fabrication and construction services contract on NOVA's Emerson Creek Compressor Station project in Alberta, Canada. Under the 2-year contract, WorleyCord, a fully integrated EPC contractor and a stand-alone general contractor, will provide fabrication and construction services for a compressor station. The station will tie into the Nova Gas Transmission Line (NGTL) which is a part of TC Energy's network of natural gas pipelines supplying more than 25% of the natural gas consumed daily across North America.

WorleyCord will incorporate robotic welding in fabrication as well as HoloLens technology to facilitate remote site visits and inspections. The compressor station is anticipated to be operational in 2024. The services will be executed by WorleyCord's Edmonton location with local execution at site.
