We are pleased to announce that WSP has once more improved its ranking and has been ranked 14th in the Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 225 International Design Firms list for 2014.

While the American publication does not rank pure play firms (firms focused entirely on consulting services), their ranking of global firms indicates that we would be 6th in pure-play providers. In the regional rankings, WSP ranked 3rd in Europe. We are also ranked 4th in buildings and 8th in industrial.

In other rankings, WSP ranked 16th in the Top 150 Global Design Firms (17th in 2013), 6th in pure-play providers. Click here to see the complete lists.

Pierre Shoiry, President and CEO, stated that "the excellent rankings in the ENR lists demonstrates our continued expertise and dedication to quality. We strive to not only continue to be one of the largest pure-play providers of engineering and related professional services, but to further diversify our proficiency."

Pierre Shoiry, President and CEO of WSP, is also on the cover of the July / August 2014 print edition in which there is a comprehensive article on WSP. The article reports on interviews with Pierre Shoiry, President and CEO, Alexandre L'Heureux, Chief Financial Officer, Paul Dollin, Chief Operating Officer, Kamran Moazami, Head of Discipline, Building Structures, Tom Smith, Global Director, Property and Buildings, David Ackert, President and CEO, Canada, Philippe Honnorat, Head of Discipline, Building Services, Jean-Luc Séguin, Vice President, Human Capital, and Louis-Martin Richer, Chief risk and ethics officer (in order of publication).

About the ENR rankings

ENR performs annual surveys and ranks companies engaged in general contracting, specialty contracting, engineering, architecture, planning and studies. The Top 225 International Design Firms rankings are based on design-specific export revenue generated from projects outside each firm's respective home country. The Top 150 Global Design Firms list ranks the 150 largest world design firms, both publicly and privately held, based on total design-specific revenue regardless of where the projects were located.
