Yamada Green Resources Limited provided earnings guidance for the second quarter ended December 31, 2016. For the period, the company expects the Group to report a loss for the second quarter and half-year ended 31 December 2016. The expected loss for second quarter of 2017 and six months of 2017 is mainly attributable to a decline in profit of cultivation business, particularly shiitake mushroom business of which the cultivation of shiitake mushroom was impacted by typhoons and warmer weather during the period. Additionally, there were higher selling and distribution expenses incurred in the sales of processed food products for the domestic market. This profit guidance is based on a preliminary review of the unaudited financial results of the Group.
