YAMASHIN-FILTER CORP. reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2016. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 7,203 million compared to JPY 7,235 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 707 million compared to JPY 223 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 674 million compared to JPY 226 million a year ago. Net income attributable to owners of parent was JPY 471 million or JPY 37.88 per basic share compared to JPY 75 million or JPY 6.04 per basic share a year ago.
For the year ending March 31, 2017, the company expects consolidated net sales of JPY 9,950 million, operating income of JPY 880 million, ordinary income of JPY 810 million and net income attributable to owners of parent of JPY 560 million or JPY 45.02 per share.
The company expects to pay year-end dividend of JPY 7.00 per share for the year ending March 31, 2017 against JPY 5.00 per share for the same period a year ago.
Yamashin-Filter Corp is mainly engaged in the development, manufacture, and sale of filter products for construction machinery, air filter products, and healthcare-related products such as masks for home use. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Construction Machinery Filter segment mainly develops, manufactures, and sells filters for construction machinery, industrial use, and process use. The Air Filter segment mainly develops, manufactures, and sells air filters. The Healthcare segment mainly develops, manufactures, and sells Yamashin original masks that utilize synthetic polymer-based nanofibers.
