1.Date of occurrence of the event:2022/08/18
2.Circumstances of the violation:In the case of Yuanta Life, the declared
interest rate determination for the related 3 insurance products were not set
in accordance with the formula for calculating the declared interest rates.
3.Monetary amount of fines:None.
4.Status of the injunction by the respective competent authority:In accordance
with Article 30, paragraph 1 of the " Regulations Governing Pre-sale
Procedures for Insurance Products " authorized by Article 144, paragraph 1 of
the Insurance Act, the sale of the related 3 insurance products is ordered
to be suspended after the administrative disciplinary notice is served.
5.Intended improvement measures:Relevant improvement measures are being
implemented.
6.Effect on the Company's business operations:Suspension of selling the
related 3 insurance products from the day following the administrative
disciplinary notice is served.
7.Any other matters that need to be specified:Yuanta Life has not yet received
the administrative disciplinary notice and the above announcement
was made based on the information available on FSC's official website.
