Yuasa Funashoku Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the third quarter ended December 30, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 78,219 million compared to JPY 82,462 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 1,239 million compared to JPY 1,424 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 1,530 million compared to JPY 1,636 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 926 million or JPY 20.60 per basic share, compared to JPY 1,051 million or JPY 23.15 per basic share, a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015. For the fourth quarter, the company is expecting its net sales of JPY 108,000 million; operating income of JPY 1,950 million; ordinary income of JPY 2,200 million; and net income of JPY 1,300 million or JPY 28.91 per basic share.
