Zhuzhou Smelter Group Co.,Ltd. announced earnings results for the half year ended June 30, 2020. For the half year, the company announced sales was CNY 7,279.837 million compared to CNY 4,188.962 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 148.279 million compared to operating loss of CNY 29.148 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 94.018 million compared to net loss of CNY 33.982 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.11 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of CNY 0.06 a year ago.
Zhuzhou Smelter Group Co Ltd is a China-based company principally engaged in the mining, smelting and sales of zinc. The Company's main products portfolio consists of zinc products, including zinc alloy ingots, zinc powders, zinc ingots, and others; lead products, including lead ingots and lead alloy ingots; precious metal products, including sponge palladium, sponge platinum, silver ingots, gold ingots, cobalt oxide and others, as well as sulfuric acid, mercurous chloride, crude copper, silver nitrate and others. In addition, the Company is also engaged in trading business. The Company conducts its businesses in domestic and overseas markets.
