Zytronic PLC, a U.K.-based manufacturer of touch sensors active in the gaming and vending industries, reported a decline in revenue and income for the first six months of 2023, according to an earnings release.

Group revenue for the half year ending March 31, 2023 fell from €5.9 million ($7.27 million) to €4.7 million ($5.87 million).

Income fell from €343,000 ($428,200) to a €763,000 ($952,540) loss.

Sales were impacted across most markets, with the most sizeable impacts on the top two sectors, gaming and vending.

Gaming sales fell from €2.1 million ($2.62 million) to €1.5 million ($1.87 million) while vending fell from €1.9 million ($2.37 million) to €1.5 million ($1.87 million). The vending volume was impacted by overstocking for a U.S.-based fountain machine customer.
