Early life
Rake was born in UK on 17 January 1948, the son of Derek Shannon Vaughan. Rake and Rosamond née Barrett. He went to prep school in Devon, followed by Wellington College. He qualified as a chartered accountant.

Career
From May 2002 to September 2007, Rake was Chairman of KPMG International. Prior to his appointment as Chairman of KPMG International he was Chairman of KPMG in Europe and Senior Partner of KPMG in the United Kingdom. He joined KPMG in 1974, and worked in Continental Europe before transferring to the Middle East to run the practice for three years in 1986. He transferred to London in 1989, became a member of the UK Board in 1991, had a number of leadership roles in the UK before being elected UK Senior Partner in 1998.

James Coulter is an American investment manager, and co-founder of private equity firm TPG Capital, originally known as the Texas Pacific Group.

Education
Coulter is a graduate of Shawnee High School in Medford, New Jersey. He graduated summa cum laude graduate from Dartmouth College, where he was also a member of Alpha Chi Alpha. He subsequently received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1986, where he was named an Arjay Miller Scholar.

Career
In 1992, Coulter co-founded the Fort Worth and San Francisco-based private equity firm along with David Bonderman. The firm is one of the largest globally with approximately $50 billion of assets under management. Prior to co-founding TPG in 1992, Coulter and the other co-founders worked for Robert M. Bass. Coulter joined the Robert M. Bass Group from Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb.

James George Nicol (born 3 August 1939), better known as Jimmie Nicol or Jimmy Nicol, is a British drummer and business entrepreneur best known for temporarily replacing Ringo Starr in The Beatles for a series of concerts during the height of Beatlemania in 1964, elevating him from relative obscurity to worldwide fame and then back again in the space of a fortnight. Nicol had hoped that his association with The Beatles would greatly boost his career but instead found that the spotlight moved away from him once Starr returned to the group. His subsequent lack of commercial success led him into bankruptcy in 1965. After then working with a number of different bands, including a successful stint with The Spotnicks, he left the music business in 1967 to pursue a variety of entrepreneurial ventures. Over the decades, Nicol has increasingly shied away from media attention, preferring not to discuss his connection to The Beatles nor seek financial gain from it. He has a son, Howard, who is a BAFTA award-winning sound engineer.
