The range of applications even includes thermography: industrial plants storing e.g. flammable materials can now be monitored extensively for temperature abnormalities. Even people and vehicles moving towards a property line in a certain direction and at a specified distance can be detected in real time. If required in terms of personal rights, people may be anonymized by pixelation. Although they can't be identified initially, their actions are clearly evident on the video monitors. Since the cameras record unveiled footage, the playback is subject to strictly secured access control and available for authorized personnel only.
