--Baker Hughes a GE Co. (BHGE) and two of its subsidiaries were indicted by an Alaska grand jury on charges related to the release of chemicals during construction of a chemical transfer facility, Reuters reports Thursday.
--A Baker Hughes manager was also indicted, the report said.
--The Alaska Attorney General's office said the chemical releases took place in 2014, during construction of the facility, according to the report.
--"We vigorously deny the claims made against us, and will exercise our right to present evidence that the allegations are without merit," a spokesperson for Baker Hughes said. "We have confidence in the judicial system and that the full facts will be presented in court."
