Co-optation of a director

The Board of Directors has co-opted, with immediate effect, Ms Rika Coppens (permanent representative of Fast Forward Services bvba) as an independent director within the meaning of article 526ter of the Companies Code, to fill the vacancy that had arisen following Frans Colruyt's decision to lay down his mandate as natural person on the board. Her final appointment will be submitted to the General Meeting of Etn. Fr. Colruyt NV of Wednesday 25 September 2019 for approval.

Rika Coppens is the CEO of House of HR (Accent), active in staffing, consulting and recruitment in 10 countries. Previously, she served as CEO at EFR Group, which operates fuel stations across the Benelux and France, and as CFO at Zenitel and Bureau van Dijk Computer Services. She has already held mandates in boards of directors and audit committees in the past.

Frans Colruyt retains his director's mandate as a permanent representative of Korys Business Services II NV on the Board of Directors.
