Statement of the C.E.O. Fabio de' Longhi

"Following the latest Italian regulations released yesterday Monday March 9th, I want to reassure all the Group employees and our partners that our HQ offices based in Treviso are still working business as usual, as well as our plant in Mignagola and all our warehouses.

We fully support the actions taken by the Italian Government, because we think these rules will help to ensure higher safety standards for the health of all citizens and to increase control in order to reduce the spread of the outbreak.

In Italy, our Group is taking all the extraordinary safety measures to ensure the health of our employees, as we have already done in our facilities in China and Hong Kong, and we are ready to extend such extraordinary measures to all our companies worldwide.

As announced yesterday in our press release, our European factories are fully operational and the Chinese platform is reaching full production capacity thanks to everyone's hard work and dedication. We are also increasing our inventories in order to guarantee business continuity even in an extreme scenario of prolonged period of crisis.

I believe that, thanks to the contribution of each of you, we will be able to get out of this crisis stronger than before and with a renewed awareness of our business potential".
