Deutsche Telekom : Femtec fellows meet magenta spirit

On September 26, we welcomed 30 Femtec fellows to excursions at Deutsche Telekom headquarters in Bonn. Supported by numerous representatives from a wide variety of specialist departments, the day proved to offer a true cornucopia of future topics.

The Femtec careers platform is dedicated to inspiring women to pursue (management) careers in technical fields. As a provider of excellent entry-level and development opportunities for female STEM graduates, Deutsche Telekom is very happy to support Femtec. During regular excursions, the fellows find out first-hand about the career perspectives that Deutsche Telekom has to offer.

The twice-annual Femtec excursions serve as a great platform for networking, connecting enthusiastic female STEM students with magenta-hearted employer representatives. Or, to put it another way: digital growth areas meet inquisitive talents from STEM degree programs. After all, before the event, many of the fellows have no idea what their professional future at Deutsche Telekom could look like.

On September 26, a touring coach once again transported a group of excursion participants to our headquarters campus in Bonn. To reflect the size and variety of our Group, a large number of company representatives welcomed the participants upon their arrival. They included:

Our company motto 'THINK BIGGER' represented the common (magenta) thread through the day's elements. Everyone contributed their own personal touch as the colleagues presented their own individual THINK BIGGER moments with and at the Group.

As such, the event wasn't just about getting to know each other, but also about substantive exchange and developing ideas for a sustainable digital future. With all this input, the fellows had no trouble that evening identifying and sharing their own personal THINK BIGGER moments from the day.

During the tour of the Telekom Design Gallery at the latest, it became clear: it's about shaping our digital future. And it isn't just about meeting a women's quota; it's about discovering true young talents.
