The return on equity (12 months) reached 13.5%, which ratifies the correct investment decisions made by the company in recent years.
As a cumulative value as of June, net income amounted to COP529.831 million.
For ISA Group, the first semester of the year stands out by investments and an important dynamic in energy transmission projects (4 projects awarded and 1 project entered into service) in Brazil, Colombia, and Peru, showing the group's growth and consolidation.
A relevant event to be highlighted is that the net income reached COP529.831 million (2.3% more compared with the same semester of previous year1) and it was not affected from currency volatility, given the natural hedging policy implemented by ISA.
In addition, the EBITDA Margin for the semester which reached 70.7% (excluding construction), showed the level, strength, and consistency of previous years, which has enabled the company to continue strengthening its regional portfolio.
It is also worth mentioning the generation of cash flow from operation, which at the end of June amounted to COP1.213.762 million, including the collection of RBSE installments for an amount of COP583.488 million. The cash generated represents COP437.339 million more than compared with the same period of previous year.
For 2018, the estimated investment is COP3.489.463 million, one of the highest in recent years, which will be distributed as follows: Electric Energy Transmission Business Unit 92.0%, Road Concessions Business Unit 4.5%, Information and Communications Technologies Business Unit 2.3%, and Real-Time Systems Management Business Unit 1.2%.
'We continue growing, generating sustainable value to shareholders. The results for this semester ratified us as a profitable company, a reliable asset, and an excellent investment. This situation motivates us to continue working tirelessly to comply with our stakeholders and the society in general', said Bernardo Vargas Gibsone, ISA's CEO.
