Lookers plc announces that on 16 October 2018 it purchased for cancellation the following number of its ordinary shares of 5 pence each pursuant to its share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 7^th March 2018.

The Repurchased Shares will be cancelled. Following the cancellation of the Repurchased Shares, the total number of ordinaryshares with voting rights will be: 391,814,415.The figure 391,814,415 may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
