Catarina Martins has been appointed Chief Sustainability Officer ("CSO") in Mowi ASA. Catarina has a MSc in Marine Biology from Lisbon University in Portugal, a PhD in Animal Sciences from Wageningen University in the Netherlands and a MBA in Global Seafood from Norwegian School of Economics. In addition, Catarina has supplementary education in Corporate Sustainability and other relevant education from Harvard University in the USA. She has both a scientific and business background that are of importance in this position. During the past five years Catarina has worked as Group Manager of Environment and Sustainability in Mowi ASA.

Following Mowi's strategy of being a leading integrated seafood provider and to support our MOWI branding strategy, we have identified a need to strengthen the area of sustainability. Mowi is a company that is living and producing in close cooperation with nature, and our success depends on sustainable and environmentally responsible interactions with the natural environment. A vital part of the CSO's responsibility is to strengthen and implement Mowi's sustainability strategy.

To make the Group Management Team more effective, the team members will primarily be located at the headquarter in Bergen, Norway. Accordingly, Glenn Flanders who resides in the USA steps out of the team. Glenn will continue in his current role and going forward he will spend even more time on investor relations activities in the Americas and Asia.
