On July 31, 2020, Florida Power & Light Company sold $1.25 billion principal amount of its Floating Rate Notes, Series due July 28, 2023 (Notes). The Notes bear interest at a rate equal to three-month LIBOR plus 0.38%, which rate will be reset quarterly on January 28, April 28, July 28, and October 28 of each year, beginning October 28, 2020. The Notes were registered under the Securities Act of 1933 pursuant to Registration Statement Nos. 333-226056, 333-226056-01 and 333-226056-02. This Current Report on Form 8-K is being filed to report as exhibits certain documents in connection with the sale of the Notes.
