WALLDORF - SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that SAP SuccessFactors solutions have been positioned by Gartner, Inc., the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, in the 'Leaders' quadrant of the 'Magic Quadrant for Talent Management Suites ' report, a position the company has maintained since the inaugural Gartner 'Magic Quadrant for Talent Management Suites' report in 2013.

This evaluation is based on completeness of vision and ability to execute, where talent management (TM) suites are defined as helping enterprises manage the key workforce processes of plan to source, acquire to onboard, perform to reward and assess to develop.

According to Gartner, 'Leaders demonstrate a market-defining vision for how TM technology can help HR leaders achieve their business objectives. Leaders have the ability to execute against that vision through products and services, and have demonstrated solid business results in the form of revenue and earnings. In the TM suite market, Leaders show a consistent ability to win broad suite deals. They have significant successful customer deployments in North America, EMEA and Asia/Pacific in a wide variety of industries and with multiple proof points. Other providers in the market often measure themselves against Leaders.'

'Gartner's placement of SAP SuccessFactors solutions on the Completeness of Vision axis is a testament to our ability to help businesses around the world understand, support and inspire their talent,' said SAP SuccessFactors President Greg Tomb. 'We have a powerful vision for the future of talent management that is helping customers gain a very competitive edge in an increasingly hot employment market.'

Among the thousands of companies using SAP SuccessFactors solutions is UK-based EDF Energy. 'As the energy industry evolves, we must adapt to succeed in what is a highly competitive market,' said Ian Hammond, director of Future HR Projects at EDF Energy. 'To do this, we are building a workforce capable of tackling whatever challenges lie ahead. With all our HR activities running on SAP SuccessFactors solutions, we can sharpen our competitive edge and inspire our people to help us meet the energy needs of the United Kingdom now and in the future.'
