Sartorius : employees with up to five decades of seniority celebrate company anniversaries

Göttingen, November 29, 2018 - On Wednesday evening at Sartorius Campus in Göttingen, Sartorius celebrated its 266 employees who each share up to five decades of seniority, representing a grand total of 6,590 years of experience and expertise. During this celebration, CEO Joachim Kreuzburg thanked long-term staff from the German sites in Göttingen, Guxhagen and Laupheim: 'Your dedication and knowledge have contributed to making Sartorius so successful today.'

Employees who have been with Sartorius for 10, 20, 25, 30, 35 or 40 years, or even longer, were recognized - ranging from a membrane specialist to a cell line expert. Fifty-one people with a seniority of at least 40 years received tribute, among them Dietmar Bode, Guenter Effler, Rudolf Kemmling and Herbert Engelhardt, who each have dedicated 47 years of service to the company, receiving special thanks for their commitment.

Afterwards, long-term staff put their Sartorius knowledge to the test in a company anniversary quiz. Both colleagues and managers alike congratulated them in a video message. Rounding off the evening, the participants exchanged anecdotes about the past and the present while enjoying dinner and live music.
