Wizz Air - Europe's greenest airline* and the largest low-cost carrier in Central and Eastern Europe, celebrates today a major milestone, a total of 5 million passengers flown on its low-fare service in Serbia. Since that moment WIZZ has constantly expanded its operations, bringing opportunities through affordable travel to an ever-growing number of European passengers. Now, WIZZ operates 13 routes to 7 countries to and from Belgrade and 5 routes to 4 countries to and from NiS. Additionally, the past year has also been very successful because more 895 thousand passengers flew with Wizz Air from Serbia, which makes it the most successful year.

Paulina Gosk, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air said 'We are delighted to celebrate this memorable milestone with Belgrade airport. We are satisfied with the results we have had in this past year in Belgrade, but also with the reception we have had since we opened our services in that important airport in the Balkans. Whether travelling on business or leisure, our crew looks forward to welcoming our passengers on board.'
