Currently, Heleen H. Kersten occupies the position of Chairman for Het Nederlandse Rode Kruis. Ms. Kersten is also on the board of STMicroelectronics NV, Wolters Kluwer NV, Rijksmuseum Amsterdam and Stichting Donateurs Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest and Partner at Stibbe BV.

In her past career she was Member of Amsterdam Bar and Chairman-Supervisory Board for Egeria Investments BV.
