William James Dally founded Velio Communications, Inc. and Stream Processors, Inc. Presently, Dr. Dally is Chief Scientist & Senior Vice President-Research at NVIDIA Corp. Dr. Dally is also Member of National Academy of Engineering. He previously was Chairman for Stream Processors, Inc., Chief Technology Officer for Velio Communications, Inc., Professor-Computer Science Department at Stanford University and Professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received an undergraduate degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University, a doctorate from California Institute of Technology and a graduate degree from Stanford University.
