Hursey, CFA MBA, is a Managing Director, Co-Founder at 1819 Partners LLC and a Head of Research at Sentry LLC.
He began his career in the investment management industry in 2012.
Before joining Sentry in 2016, he worked in equity research for a multi-billion dollar, long-only equity investment manager and as the sole equity analyst at a Memphis-based hedge fund.
He received his undergraduate degree from Murray State University (Kentucky) and an MBA from Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management.
He has held the Chartered Financial Analyst designation since 2017.
