(UAM Assessoria e Gestão) is the asset management division of Itaú Unibanco Holding SA (NYSE : ITUB), a leading South American banking group created in 2008 through the merger of the Itau and Unibanco groups, two of Brazil's leading privately-owned banks. The bank is an affiliate of the financial conglomerate Investimentos Itaú SA, known as Itaúsa. IUAM runs an incubator FoF for emerging hedge fund managers. They offer Brazilian products as well as Luxembourg- and Cayman-domiciled funds. The firm subadvises Brazilian and Latin American portfolios for leading global asset management firms.
