Clive Chapman

After graduation in 1983, he established and managed his own business in the automotive after sales market until 1986 when he joined a subsidiary of Ibex Holdings Plc, a recruitment services Group, which subsequently listed on the USM of the London Stock Exchange.
This subsidiary, Austin Benn Consultants, became the market leader in the provision of sales personnel and facilitated his progression through the line management ranks of consultancy to Operational Director at his departure in 1991.
He then joined the recruitment and leasing Group, ATA Selection Plc.
Following the closure of the recruitment interests and the renaming of that Group as Broadcastle Plc he left in January 1992 to form a new Company with Bill Douie and instigated the creation of ATA Group.
His role in this Company was initially that of Managing Director responsible for the operational leadership and management of the business, which listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange in June 1998.
Following subsequent acquisitions and the establishment of a training and consultancy division he became Group Chief Executive.
