David Donaldson

Mr. David Donaldson serves as Head of Finance at Emirates Investment Authority.
Previously, he worked as SFO at Abraaj Capital (since January 2007) and as Director at Deutsche Bank.
He has many years of diverse experience in Investment Banking Finance and Operational roles in London having started his Investment Banking career with Salomon Brothers in 1986.
He subsequently worked for several Bulge Bracket Investment Banks covering a broad range of Equity and Fixed Income product lines in Institutional Sales and Trading.
Mr. Donaldson also brings in depth experience of implementing large scale technology and process change management programs on a global basis.
Most recently, Mr. Donaldson served as COO of Piper Jaffray in London, the leading advisory Bank in the small and mid cap Healthcare and Biotechnology sector in the UK.
Mr. Donaldson holds an MA Jurisprudence from Oxford University and is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant having qualified with Arthur Andersen & Co in London.
