Profile

Mr. Ed Oberholtzer is a Director at Foxhall Capital Management, Inc. Prior to joining Foxhall Capital, he became a partner in the launch of E2.
Before that, he served as the Head of Sales and Interim President of US Allianz, then the variable annuity strategic business unit of Allianz Life.
Particular challenges included elevating the level of professionalism within the external wholesaling team and guiding the culture through the re-engineering of the ‘strategic business unit’ organizational design into an ‘enterprise-based’ system.
From 1993 through 2003, Mr. Oberholtzer was with American Skandia where he was a perennial top-decile wholesaler and Western Divisional sales manager under Hayward Sawyer.
During that time, he assisted in the development of the American Skandia Advisors Funds, American Skandia’s entry into the mutual fund business.
Prior to joining Skandia, he helped build what is known today as the "One Funds," successfully introduced specialized fixed annuity products to several "entities" not eligible for tax deferral and was a leading wholesaler in the introduction of annuities and single pay life insurance to wirehouse stock brokers in the Southwest.
His experience also includes wholesaling and product development of oil and gas, real estate and equipment leasing partnerships with Integrated Resources and others.
Mr. Oberholtzer graduated in 1973 from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and from Pepperdine University in 2000 with a Master’s of Business Administration.
