From 1998 to 2006, Mr. Ruhl represented the United States Telecom Association on the President's National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee.
He was a Director of the United States Telecom Association, the Pennsylvania Telephone Association, the Economic Development Company of Lancaster County and the Harrisburg Regional Chamber.
Mr. Ruhl was Chairman of the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania.
He is a Member of the Board of Advisors for the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania and President of the Central Pennsylvania Symphony.
Mr. Ruhl is a Registered Professional Engineer and a Life Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. He is a Member of the Executive Committee and a Trustee for Harrisburg University.
