Prior to joining Coho Partners in January 2009, Mr. Dever obtained a wealth of experience in the financial industry.
He began his investment career in 1984 with Ameritech Corporation, one of the largest corporate pension and savings plans in the U.S.
He joined the investment consulting firm New England Pension Consultants, Inc. in 1990, where he worked with institutional plan sponsors to establish written investment policies, asset allocation, manager selection, transition plans, and performance measurement.
Mr. Dever moved to Delaware Investment Advisors in 1994 where he worked with institutional clients to keep them abreast of investment results and portfolio changes.
In 1997, he accepted an offer with Turner Investment Partners as Director of Client Service.
During his stay at Turner, he expanded his responsibility to include institutional sales and eventually, as chief marketing officer, was responsible for global sales, marketing and client service.
Mr. Dever graduated from Miami University with a BSc in Finance and earned an MBA in Finance from Loyola University in Chicago.
