Jan-Ake Westin

Jan-Ake Westin is Vice President of Clinical Development for Medicure, Inc. Mr. Westin was Managing Director of i3 Research and Innovus Research, Inc. He held various senior clinical research and director level positions at Astra Pharma, Inc. for over 20 years, including International Clinical Research Manager and Senior Clinical Research Scientist.
Mr. Westin held various senior leadership positions at Pharmacia & Upjohn, Inc. and Pfizer/Pharmacia Corp., including Director of Clinical Operations and Director of Clinical Outsourcing.
He received an MS degree in Social Pharmacy from the University of Uppsala in Sweden.
