Prior to joining Tower Bridge Advisors in November 2007, Mr. Smartt was a shareholder of Walnut Asset Management, LLC before its sale to Phoenix Investment Partners, and was Executive Vice President of Walnut from 1999 to 2007.
From 1979 through 1999, he advised individual and institutional clients at Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC.
Previous experience includes positions at Elkins Morris Stroud & Co. and the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He has extensive experience in the field of wealth management.
